“Stupid, frilly girl stuff”

Google has a free program called Picasa that I use to organize all my pics and store them online.  The cool thing is that whoever has Picasa can download the whole album off of the web if they want to.  Anywho, we have several albums online at http://picasaweb.google.com/BellaRose6107, these are maxed out at 1024×768; if anybody wants a bigger picture just let me know which one(s) you want and I’ll email them.

At the end of every month, I’ll put up a gallery that contains everything shot during the month – as I’ve done for June.

Making some noises

This may sound like Bella’s just making some random noises but this was the start of her talking out loud.

The rare bad mood

OK, I know what you’re thinking – Paul and April don’t share any video of Bella screaming her head off like all kid’s do. Actually that’s because it’s so rare for Bella to have a meltdown – when she does it’s for the following reasons only: she’s hungry, she wants a new diaper, or she needs help going to sleep.

Development

The little things really get past you if you don’t write them down and keep track of them:

Focusing – Bella has been focusing on objects and will track them when they move.  Today April and I were standing together holding her, I walked out of the room and Bella turned her head to watch me leave.

Ticklishness – Before when you would rub Bella in a way that would be ticklish to most, her body would flinch a bit letting you know she felt it.  Now if you tickle her, she actually cracks a smile and April has heard her actually laugh once.

Weight – We took Bella to the doctor over her cold and while there they weighed her – 9 pounds, 10 ounces on June 28.
