We got some bath toys for Bella to play with – she seemed to have more fun throwing them out of the tub than keeping them in.

Week of Easter
March 19th, 2008 Posted 8:24 am
Bella’s first Easter is coming up and I think we’re ready. Since last week, she’s been clapping when she gets excited and her Hi and Bye wave is getting perfected by the day. We’ve tried table foods and she seems to love eating with her hands. Bella’s not a fan of baby food meats but she doesn’t mind ham or any meats I give her that she can pick up and eat herself. Note: she will vomit if you feed her pulled pork-no, I didn’t use BBQ sauce.
Her tooth is showing more and more and she’s learning to use it to bite down on the front already. She slept really good last week-about 11 hours a night. But recently she has been waking up in the middle of the night a couple of times screaming and screaming. We feed her if nothing else will console her and she just guzzles it down. I’m sure she could make it thru the night without eating so I’m not sure what’s going on with her. Last night, she woke up at 10:30 which was the earliest yet so I just let her cry it out till 11 and just as I was about to go in her room to get her, she had cried herself back to sleep, then slept thru the night like she was supposed to. It’s hard letting her cry so long, sometimes because I want to go back to sleep but mostly because I really wish I knew why she was screaming so much-bad dream, feels sick, hungry, what? Anyway, we’re trying to do what’s right for her without losing our mind:). Church is having a big breakfast on Sunday and an egg hunt after the service-it’s supposed to be nice weather so I hope she can wear her Easter dress and be comfortable too. The daycare is celebrating it on Thursday since they’re closed for Good Friday. Of course, we’ll take lots of pics but not sure when anyone will get to see them. Paul’s so busy spending time with us and working on the yard now, it’s hard to find spare time. Oh well, we’re enjoying the time we share together so nothing else really matters…

031008 – Walking in place
March 10th, 2008 Posted 1:01 am
Seems like everytime Bella is moving, she’s doing something that has to do with trying to walk.
The first tooth has arrived
March 9th, 2008 Posted 6:19 pm
Thursday night, I had a dream that Bella had her first tooth. I told her about it the next morning and that night during dinner, I noticed a little white on her bottom gum. By Saturday morning, both Paul and I had felt it. With Bella being 9mths and 8 days old, we thought her teeth would never show. And just to show you how much of a sweetie she is, she wasn’t fussy or showing any other of the signs that a tooth was coming in. We can also see her two top front teeth pushing against the gums so they’ll be here in no time. With her beautiful smile, showing off some pearly whites will only brighten what already shines.
We went to a few consignment sales this weekend and picked up a ton of clothes for her. Hopefully, we won’t need anymore clothes until next spring (only more shoes as her monkey toes and feet get bigger and cuter). I picked up a really cute pink plaid beret with 2 pink hearts on the front. Thankfully she doesn’t mind wearing hats because she looks absolutely adorable in this thing. We got a few good pics of her last night wearing it. She wore it to church this morning with a matching pink sweater. She looked like she had just posed for the cover of a baby magazine-too cute!
Some people make fun of me because I clap my hands when I start laughing really hard. Now Bella is doing the same thing. When she gets tickled at herself or excited about something, she starts clapping and laughing which makes her nose crinkle up too. We’ve tried to catch it on camera but I’m not sure how successful we’ve been. We just get caught up in the moment and forget to grab the camera sometimes.

030808 – Walks with help
March 8th, 2008 Posted 12:37 am
As long as Bella is given a helping hand, she can walk like a pro – sorta.
