There’s a nice park in Charlotte called Freedom Park – it has a few play areas and a pretty lake in the center that you can walk around. As I type this, it reminds me that we should take Bella back.

Everything Bella does now it pretty much centered around trying to walk. She’ll either hold our hands and walk around, or pull herself to a standing position and take a step – any day now she’ll have walking mastered.

First parent vacation without Bella

It’s Monday morning and we’ve been away from Bella since Saturday around 1pm.  We’ve tried not to think or talk about her too much but Aunt Linda was kind enough to send my phone a picture of Bella enjoying a cracker at the park.  Of course, I had to change the wallpaper of my phone to that so everytime I opened it up, I could enjoy her beautiful face.  I’ve also flipped thru all the pictures I’ve taken via my cell phone which is a cool trip that I haven’t done in a long time.  Found a really cute one of her smiling that I’ll have to post later on.

 We’re off to breakfast here in Charleston.  Paul and I’ve had a great time together these past few days but we’re also ready to get back to our Bella too.  We bought her a cute hot pink tie-dye onesie that’ll be adorable on her…  see you soon Baby!
